چکیده
Background: Brucellosis is a zoonotic disease with different clinical symptoms. Its early diagnosis essential to prevent severe complications. Due the limitations of serological diagnostic methods, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method has become important in disease. Objectives: Our study aimed evaluate PCR patients suspected brucellosis and compare it tests. Methods: This cross-sectional was performed on 90 febrile features who were examined by an infectious specialist. A total serum samples collected from admitted hospital analyzed (Rose Bengal) Then, each method's results recorded compared other. Results: According test results, 45 negative, positive. among serology-positive patients, all had positive results. However, 40 out serology-negative patients. this study, sensitivity diagnosing human 100%, negative serology 88.9%. Therefore, higher than that tests which 50% study. Conclusions: The can be valuable for serologic

The aim of present study was to compare the diagnostic performance of the different Brucella abortus antigen based serological and molecular tests such as Rose Bengal Plate Test (RBPT), indirect enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (I-ELISA) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Out of 89 samples, 44 were positive by I-ELISA, 18 by RBPT and 21 by PCR. Substantial agreement was observed between PCR ...
متن کاملDiagnosis of human brucellosis in Egypt by polymerase chain reaction.
This study aimed to establish an accurate and sensitive polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique for the diagnosis of active human brucellosis in Egypt. We failed to extract Brucella DNA with a commercial kit, but an extraction kit designed in-house using 2 sets of primers [B4/B5 (223 bp) and JPF/JPR (193 bp)] was successful and more economical. The technique showed high sensitivity, specifici...

heteropoly acids (hpa) and their salts have advantages as catalysts which make them both economically and environmentally attractive, strong br?nsted acidity, exhibiting fast reversible multi-electron redox transformations under rather mild conditions, very high solubility in polar solvents, fairly high thermal stability in the solid states, and efficient oxidizing ability, so that they are imp...
